With the Sony HX30V, Sony aims to bring highly desired features like high-powered zoom and very good low-light capabilities into a compact form-factor that consumers are accustomed to.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX30V is so amazing that many users can not help grasping it in hands all the time, they may have enjoyed taking photos and videos. However, most users may meet a problem that after shooting, it is difficult for them to imput the footages to iMovie editing. Why? It is simple because of the different format. The most compatible format for iMovie is Apple Intermediate codec(AIC)(*.mov). But as we all know, the clips format of Sony Cybershot DSC-HX30V is AVCHD. So here comes to the key problem. How can we transcode AVCHD to Apple Intermediate codec(AIC)(*.mov) for iMovie editing?
