Want to transfer music/videos from iPod onto your new laptop? or want to get all songs and movies back to your formated computer from your iPod Touch? Or just got a new iPod that you want to put songs onto, but the songs are only on your old iPod...More.
If you came across one of these, the following iPod to PC transfer and iPod to mac transfer program guides would help you solve your problem easily.
Session 1: MAC users
Tool you need: this iPod to Mac Copy software
To copy iPod files to MAC, simply follow the below easy steps:
Export files from iPod/iPhone to Mac
Open the library/playlist that you want to export files to.
Check the file(s) you want to export in the file list.
Click the "iPod to Mac" button to start exporting files.
Export files from iPod/iPhone to iTunes
Open the library/playlist that you want to export files to.
Check the file(s) you want to export in the file list.
Click the "iPod to iTunes" button to start exporting files.
Edit iPod/iPhone playlist
You can delete and add items for the existing playlist in the iPhone/iPod and also delete and create new playlist via Xilisoft iPod Rip for Mac.
Delete item/playlist: Choose the file/playlist you want to delete, click the "Del" button or right click and choose "delete" menu.
Add items: Select the movie or music file and right click, choose the menu "Add to Playlist" and specify the playlist you want to add the file to.
Three methods to create playlist:
1)Choose "File-> Playlist-> New Playlist" to create an untitled playlist, rename and add items to it.
2)Select any existing playlist and right click, choose "New Playlist" to create an untitled playlist, rename and add items to it.
3)Check the files you want to create in a playlist, right click and choose "Create Playlist with selected" to create an untitled playlist, rename it.
More usage skills
Edit ID3 tag info for music files
Right click a music file and choose "File Info" menu. Then you can edit the "Info" option to change the ID3 tag for the file.
Directly play music/movie on this iPod Rip for Mac interface
Right click the checked music or movie file and choose "play" menu, then the file would be played with the default player on your Mac.

* Open iPod and iPhone with Finder

* Eject iPod/iPhone
Click "File-> Eject", and choose the iPod/iPhone you want to eject from the submenu or right click the iPod/iPhone icon and choose "Eject" to eject the device.

Session 2: For windows users
Tool you need: iPod to PC transfer program
Free Download it to your computer first.
Step 1: After your iPod is connected to pc, Launch the program you will see the right UI. Normally, the program will search the device automacially. If the device is enabled, the files (songs/movies/pics) will be shown in the list.
You also can click the Rescan button to search the device again.
Step 2: Choose the list and files you want to transfer , Click the Start Transfer button.
Step 3: After you clicking the Start Transfer button, the following window will pop up, you can choose transferring to computer or itunes directly. You can set the output fold at settings option before transferring..
Transfer music from iPod to computer, or transfer songs form iPod to iTunes
Step 4: When the transferring finished, the following window will pop up. It shows that how many files have been done. You can click the Yes button to view the output files.
