The Mizuno MX-300 Irons have a bit more feel and cheap golf clubs weigh less which is what I was looking for. I now hit the ball higher and tend to draw them a bit versus straight. This may be due to the cobras having regular steel stafts and the mizuno's having stiff. The MX 300 has the best combination of feel and forgiveness I have always been looking for.
I like the feel and the height on my shots. I am sure I will play better around the green with these mizuno mx 200 irons. Non center strikes leave a harsh sting to the hands. Center hits feel like I didn't hit anything at all, making me want to hit the sweet spot over and over again. It feels good. Makes me want to hit the sweet spot over and over again. I like the less offset which will help my golf swing in the long run.
I was worried when the Mizuno JPX 800 Irons just came out, but I was the first to hit them at the Brea store and still glad I went with the Mx-300's (good value now). JPX seemed a bit bulkier with thicker top line and different cavity. These are definitely on the smaller end of the game improvement iron category. I'm real confident with these from 180 and in as I have been striking them solid and straight, without the benefit of a fitting prior to purchase since I live in Sicily. If I toe a shot my hands let me know it but I believe in the end this will in fact improve my ball striking.
