ADOBE has ceased allowing Flash to be downloaded and installed to Android devices, effectively bringing to an end its reign on mobile devices.
The current Android operating system version Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) is the last that Flash will support and the Adobe Flash app will cease to be officially available for download from August 15 (US time) this year.
Adobe announced its intention to abandon Flash on mobile devices in favor of HTML 5 in November last year.
“Over the past two years, we’ve delivered Flash Player for mobile browsers and brought the full expressiveness of the web to many mobile devices,” Adobe said.
“However, HTML5 is now universally supported on major mobile devices, in some cases exclusively. This makes HTML5 the best solution for creating and deploying content in the browser across mobile platforms.
Now, if you convert the SWF to MP4 Macwith SWF to MP4 for Mac converter, you can import the flash video to android.
