Panasonic's Lumix DMC-TZ10 (or ZS7 as it's known in North America) is the latest model in the company's enormously popular travel zoom series. It is a full-featured, compact digital camera with full high-definition video recording built-in. Available in 4 bold colors, the stylish ergonomic body is easy to carry and fun to use. It records video with advanced MPEG-4 AVCHD .mts formats and the HDMI port can be configured to output 576p, 720p or 1080i signals (although AVCHD Lite movies are always output at 720p).

However, the recorded MTS is not a good editing format for some Mac softwares, like Final Cut Pro 7. If your Mac computer is too old, is ahort of some codecs, or other something, you will meet some troubles like the user "Hey guys, I have a problem. It is relevant to my camcorder Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7. Looking directly at MTS files - they can be played by default with VLC.Obviously a test input to FCP does not recognize format. What can I do? Help!"

There are many ways to solve the problem from googling, but the most useful and convenient way is to find a Panasonic MTS Converter to transcode MTS files to FCP 7 video format-Apple ProRes MOV.
