IPod Touch 2 Released at” Let's Rock, November 21”, 2008 in San Francisco

At “Let's Rock” products release conference at San Francisco, Apple Inc. showed the latest generation of iPod products. After the release of new iPod Nano, Apple brought a new expectation to all the Apple fans—iPod touch 2.
The price of iPod touch 2 is released at the same time: 8GB capacities for $229; 16GB costs $299; 32GB costs $399 and they also ship with the latest iPod touch 2.1 windows/Mac iPod transfer software.
With the release of the new iPod touch, many third party software companies are improving their products to meet more users’ demand both on iPod to Mac and iPod to windows software. 4Media Software Studio improved its iPod manager—iPod to Mac Transfer. Banshee updated its media player version, and ANVSOFT keeps concerning with its Photo Slideshow.
Amazing appearance
This second version of the iPod touch equals or improves upon its predecessor in almost every physical facet. With the similar appearance as iPod 3G, iPod touch 2 is shinier and the thinnest is only 1.9mm.
Longer Battery Life
The battery duration has been lengthened to 36 hours in music and 6 hours in video.
On full charge the battery life has been extended to about 36 hours of music or 6 hours of video.
Convenient volume control
IPod touch 2 was added volume switch at the side so that you can turn up or down the volume at any time by just one finger.
Built-in loudspeaker
Steve Jobs said that this speaker is for “casual listening.” So you will find the sound from iPod touch 2 comes from not a particular direction but seems just seep out of any hole of the device.
