I ran across a Google Earth, Google Maps car in Cuernavaca, Mexico last week. I stopped immediately and took a few snapshots of the car with my iPhone. Inside the car there where a couple of computers and GPS equipment. Outside you can see the camera tower that takes 8 photo snapshots at a time every X distance the car travels. Cool. Check it out.
