Season 3 True Blood DVD was every bit as satisfying and heart wrenching, all that I hoped for. But... Season 2 was sorta all over the place and bringing in a monster that really didn't belong irked me to no end I was VERY happy when Sam finally took care of that problem. Now, I was really happy to see the back story for Erik and for Russel's Gossip Girl DVD involvement in the deaths of his family and finally Bill is seen for the Jerk that he really is.Then again they had to change what should have been and let Sookie forgive him? Russell the craziest Vamp this side of ole Miss carrying around his dead (gooey) lover in a huge crystal jar?, vase?...(still not too sure about that), was unexpected. But then again Mr. Ball has taken one of my favorite book series and turned it on its ear and then some! While The L Word DVD I am happy with the new twists and turns and characters that should have been gone at the end of Season one and the addition of new ones that frankly worries me. It just makes me wonder why a few characters were cut from the show when in the book series they REALLY matter? Also, The Fae blood that Sookie has?, It should have never been revealed this soon. The Simpsons DVD What are they going to do about the now MIA characters that follow that storyline? I know this review sounds like I should have given it One or Two stars, I just can't do that. Despite my issues with what they've done or might still do It IS a wonderful show to watch. All I know is that I was very happy and satisfied at the end and now I can't wait until June for the new Season. IF you loved the books or IF you're new to the show or the books..CSI Miami DVD. Then it is worth watching because all of the possible What Ifs are what keep me coming back for more. I just know that Season 3 was a wonderful addition to the Series and for those of us that have been here watching and waiting for what happens next will NOT be disappointed.
