R.マキロイ世界No.１へ秒読み
「WGCアクセンチュアマッチプレー選手権」は大会初日の１回戦で、ワールドランキング１位で昨年の優勝者ルークドナルドが敗戦したため、ゴルフ用品 通販 同２位のロリーマキロイが俄然注目の的となっている。その理由は単にナンバー２だからではなく、この大会でマキロイが優勝した場合、テーラーメイド R11S ドライバー ポイント争いでルークを抜いてナンバー１になることが決まったからだ。「そのことは、みんなが話をしているから知っているよ。でも、そのことが、かえって今週のモチベーションにもなっているんだ」と、ドライバー R11S マキロイ自身も意識して試合に挑んでいる。この日の２回戦はデンマークのアンダースハンセンと対戦したマキロイ。ドライバー R11S ３番で先制すると、５番でオールスクエアに戻されるが、７番以降はリードを許さず３アンド２で勝利を収めた。
