I was lucky that I got a Canon EOS C300, it is is the most popular and hotly-received professional camcorder in 2012. The best HD Cinema EOS camera, together with 5D Mark III, has successfully attract attention with its far more compact and less cluttered design, although not the price. It has a 1920 x 1080 sampling structure at up to 60 frames. From these original video components, a 1080-line 60i format or a 1280 x 720 at 60p HD format are selectively derived. Thus, I got some troubles when I import Canon C300 MXF files to iMovie for their further editing on my Mac computer.
Then I googled to find the Canon C300 1080i MXF is not recognized by iMovie. Step 4: Click the “Convert” button; it will convert C300 1080i MXF to AIC for iMovie on Mac immediately. You can find the process in the “Conversion” interface.
