Nikon D4 Import Tips- Transcode Nikon D4 mov to ProRes for Final Cut Pro editing
The Nikon D4 is one of a series of Nikon's striking DSLRs. It is wonderful to be taken to take photos and record HD videos when you travel or commute. If you have got the Nikon D4 camera and often use it to shoot 1080P video, you may have the need to edit Nikon D4 h.264 mov footages in Final Cut Pro on Mac, but FCP best native supported video format is Apple ProRes 422 codec MOV format, so FCP doesn't support h.264 footages well, you may encountered many problems, like import it slowly, and couldn't edit videos smoothly.
So how to import Nikon D4 h.264 footages into Final Cut Pro 6/7 or FCP X for editing without crashing problem and avoid rendering?
