Some Panasonic AVCCAM users want to edit AVCHD videos to iMovie, but they can't successfully import these native recordings from AG-AC130/AC160 to iMovie under Mac OS X. I went to Google and found we generally use Camera Import to import AVCHD footage when connecting Camera or Camcorder with a USB cable. But the way has some limitions of Computer System and iMovie version. We still meet some troubles when we attempt to get Panasonic AG-AC130/AC160 AVCHD .mts/m2ts shootings to iMovie. Then how to make MTS/M2TS editble for putting into iMovie without any error? The key is to transcode AVCHD to the best format AIC for iMovie before importing.
If we have to encode AVCHD for iMovie, we will need to download and install a top AVCHD to AIC Converter to help us to convert AVCHD to AIC MOV for iMovie on Mac OS X.
