"How do I join multiple avi files? I use KM player but every time I join the files with HJsplit the new file never works and the size of this new file is always 1mb. Also where should I go to download the needed codecs? Is there something better than HJ split? So basically I want to know a step by step process on how to do this successfully."

Step 3: Add transition to avi files
On the bottom of the panel, there is timeline with five layers: Text, Video A, Transitions, Video B and Audio for you to add image, audio, text as transitions between videos.
Step 4: Save and publish
After finish editing, hit Save and publish to save MP4 files. Here you can change video and audio parameters such as Bit Rate, Encoder, Resolution and so on. When finish settings, click Next to save the video.
