How to import TOD to iMovie with TOD to iMovie Converter fo

Some friends of mine tell me that they couldn't import JVC TOD files into iMovie for editing. It means iMovie doesn't work with TOD well. They are looking for an easy to import TOD into iMovie on Mac.

Unfortunately I am not in jail broken. Always concerned about all the problems with the reliability, blobs, ssh, different methods and measures involved ...
