Not have to wait in line for a whole week, with a pre-order, I successfully received my lovely iPhone 4. While, honestly I haven't used the iPhone 4 long enough to write a full review of it. But I did come across an excellent Mac iPhone 4 video converter when trying to convert my TiVo shows to iPhone HD videos. Ok, now let me show my detailed steps of converting TiVo to HD videos for iPhone 4 with Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac.
1. First of all, launch the app and add TiVo files into the program. You can drag and drop files into the app or click "Add" button to load videos. You may be asked for Media Access Key for your files, the program supports entering key code directly without assistance of extra software. This is how the program looks like.
2. Choose output format and specify destination folder for output files. Follow "Format"> "iPhone"> "iphone H.264 720p(*.mp4)" to convert TiVo files into HD MP4 format for iPhone 4. If you are looking for a relatively small output size for your new iPhone, you can check out "iPhone 4 MPEG-4 640*480(.mp4)". In this case, generated MP4 files will be much smaller but you may not be able to enjoy a high quality visual experience on iPhone 4. Anyway, the choice is up to you.
3. Before you click the big convert button, you are allowed to merge all you imported TiVo show into one single output video. Just tick the checkbox of "Merge into one file" next to "Settings" button. You can't miss it.
P. S. Editing functions are also available in the program after you click "Editor" button in the menu bar. You can trim, crop, or add special effects to your videos.
After that, you can start conversion from TiVo to HD MP4 for iPhone 4. It's that simple. All the settings are preset which are just the best for each device. You don't have to bother for all the technical details any more. Load the files, choose output profile for your iPhone, convert and done!
