Deinterlace AVCHD MTS/M2TS to HD Video for DLNA Certified TV
If you have both an AVCHD camcorder and a DLNA Certified TV and a networked PC connected to your TV, how about enjoy HD recordings in your big screen TV? That must be wonderful to playback your personal recordings with your family and friends in the living room. But it's not as easy as that. Because AVCHD files are not supported by DLNA at the moment. So first of all, let's take a look at the supported file formats by DLNA.
Compatible files: DLNA-supported file types and extensions are listed below.
Music – MP3 (.mp3)
Photos – JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
Video – MPEG1 (.mpg, .mpeg) MPEG2 (.mpg, .mpeg, .trp, .ts, .tp) DIVX (.mpg, .mpeg, .avi) MPEG4 AVC (.mpg, .mpeg)
So we can convert AVCHD mts/m2ts files to supported HD file formats by DLNA. Step 1. Add AVCHD MTS/M2TS files to the program
You can simply drag and drop your AVCHD files to the program or click "Add" button to load your videos. Step 2(Optional) Deinterlace MTS/M2TS files
Editing functions are available in Aunsoft MTS Converter by clicking "Editor" button in the menu bar for you to trim, crop, add text/image/video watermarks and deinterlace your AVCHD MTS/M2TS files. You can tick the checkbox of "Apply to all" to apply your present settings to all your AVCHD files.
Step 3. Choose MPEG-2 HD video output format
Specify your output folder in "Output" bar. After that, choose "HD Video" output format in "Format" drop-down list to convert AVCHD files to your hard drive, for example in this case I choose MPEG-2 HD Video format for A DLNA-compatible Samsung HDTV.
Step 4. Join MTS files and Convert
Before you click the big "Convert" button to start AVCHD MTS/M2S to MPEG-2 HD video conversion, you can join/merge/combine all your MTS/M2TS files by simply ticking the checkbox of "Merge into one file". What you will get is more than just a solid and reliable AVCHD MTS/M2TS Converter, it's, at the same time, a simple-to-use MTS/M2TS joiner!
Part 2: Enjoy AVCHD recordings in your DLNA certified TV by accessing videos in networked PC
Step 1. Add converted MPEG-2 HD videos to your designating folder for sharing on DLNA certified TV.
In this process, certain PC share manager software may be needed according to different DLNA certified TV sets. Let me take SAMSUNG PC Share Manager as an example, after you install manager software, a simple way to share videos on your home network is to create and name specific folders for DLNA certified TV to access. Create a new folder on your networked pc, and then name it accordingly, for example "Videos". Copy or load in converted HD videos to the folder you want to access.
PC Share Manager will only access those folders you designate as being shared. Here's how to do that. Select a folder you would like to share, or create a new folder for sharing.
Step 2: Enjoy AVCHD recordings in your DLNA certified TV
Accessing your converted AVCHD files is as easy as pushing the WiseLink button on your Samsung HDTV. Make sure that your media server or networked PC is turned on, and that that the PC Share Manager application is running so that WiseLink Pro can find your shared files and folders.
You can access WiseLink Pro directly from your remote, or from the main menu. (The red Device button, located directly below the Info button on your remote control, lets you choose between one or more networked PCs and the WiseLink USB connector on the side of your Samsung HDTV.) Once you have started WiseLink Pro, you will see the main menu shown below.
Now enjoy your AVCHD camcorder works with your friends on the big screen TV!
