A reliable method to convert DV files to FLV (YouTube) for sharing
DV is a format for recoding and playing back digital video. Nowadays, with proliferation of tapeless systems, DV video can be recorded on optical discs, solid state memory cards and hard disk drives. Video can be stored either as native DIF bitstream or wrapped into an audio/video container such as as AVI, QuickTime and MXF. Generally, DV-AVI is Microsoft's implementation of DV video file, which is wrapped into an AVI container used primarily on Windows-based computers. Quicktime-DV is DV video wrapped into Quicktime container used primarily on Apple computers.

Step 1: Click the "Add" button to add your DV files into this DV video converter program
Step 2: Select output format and set location
After loading all DV files into this program, it allows you to select output format you need (like FLV format) from the drop-down list "Format" we well as set the destination folder from the "Output". Otherwise, the output files will be saved in the default path automatically.
Step 3: Set advanced settings

Step 5: Click the "Convert" button to start DV conversion
Once all the settings are finished, you just need to wait a while to get the converted FLV files. And the video conversion process will show you some useful information you may need, like the Time elapsed, Time left, Generated size and estimated size.
As long as you get the converted files, you can upload the files to any web-sharing sites for sharing.
Tip: Tick the checkbox "Merge into one file", you can combine/join several DV files into one.
