The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have the Fish on a hook and they arent going to let ‘em go. Ray Lewis Ravens Jersey . On Thursday night at Shaw Park, the RedHawks jumped out to a 6-0 lead and beat the banged-up Winnipeg Goldeyes 6-3 to win their third straight game in this three-game series and their sixth straight game over the Fish – all six of them right in downtown Winnipeg. “Were struggling to keep pace right now,” said Goldeyes manager Rick Forney. “Our guys are playing at about 80 per cent. Were banged up and we just arent running very well. The guys are working hard. We went hard right through the ninth inning. But we just arent healthy enough. We have to just fight through it and hopefully get healthy along the way.” With the loss, the Goldeyes fell to 26-19 on the season. It was Winnipegs fourth-straight loss, their third straight loss in this series and their sixth straight loss to Fargo. Despite the loss, the Goldeyes remained in first place in the American Associations North Division, one game ahead of second-place Sioux Falls. Fargo opened the scoring with two in the third and then added four in the fifth. The big blow was a two-run homer off the bat of Sergio Pedroza as Fargo jumped out to a 6-0 lead. In the bottom of the fifth, David Narodowski doubled, went to third on a ground out and scored on a sacrifice fly by Chris Roberson. Then in the seventh, Narodowski singled, went to second on a ground out and scored on a single by Roberson. In the ninth, with two out, Price Kendall doubled and then Roberson doubled to make it 6-3 but thats as close as the Goldeyes would get. Roberson had a terrific game with a single, a double, a walk and three runs batted in. Kendall had a single, a double and a run scored while Narodowski had a single, a double and two runs scored. In total, the Goldeyes outhit the RedHawks 10-7. Fargo starter Paul Burnside (5-3, 2.72 ERA) got the win while Goldeyes starter Tony Butler (2-3, 5.22 ERA) suffered the loss. Butler (six walks) and relievers Kaohi Downing (one walk) and Alex Jones (four walks) walked a shocking 11 RedHawks. “In 21 years of professional baseball, I only remember one time when a pitcher or a pitching staff won a game while walking 10 or more guys – Jeff Keppen for the Goldeyes against Fargo,” Forney recalled. “Trouble is right now, we just arent swinging the bats well enough to overcome that kind of sloppiness.” The Goldeyes and RedHawks will play the final game of this four-game series at Shaw Park tonight. Matt Rusch (5-1, 2.29 ERA) will get the start for Winnipeg while Aaron Shafer (3-4, 5.88 ERA) will toe the slab for the RedHawks. Game time is 7 p.m. and it can be heard live on TSN 1290 with Paul Edmonds calling the play-by-play. Major League Baseball later announced that the team was the Dodgers. "We are thrilled to have this exciting opportunity," Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said.
