Free YouTube downloader
Are you still feeling troublesome to search for a useful freeware to download your beloved YouTube videos? Since more and more YouTube downloaders are appearing in the market without intervals, various sorts of software really make our eyes dazzled. Which one is free? Which one is ease-to-use? In purpose of pulling you out of this dilemma, I’d like to recommend you a practical free YouTube downloader, which I’ve been in use for some time, and works well all along. The freeware I’m using is Pavtube YouTube Converter. Notice that, it is a shareware factually (for it has powerful conversion function), but if you just use its download function, it is totally free, and will not generate any limitation to disturb you.
Step 1: Free download Pavtube YouTube Converter, afterwards install and run it.
Its main interface as below will pop up as soon as you launch it. You can click “Add URL” to input YouTube URL, afterwards, you will enter the window showing in Step 2.
Step 2: Import URL, specify file name and save path
Copy and paste the URL of the YouTube videos which you want to download into the textbox after “URL”, do remember tick “Only Download FLV source file” only, and uncheck the option “Keep FLV source file”. This program also allows you to rename the YouTube FLV file. Just type whatever name you like into the textbox after “Save as”, and meanwhile, if you do not want to use the default save path storing the downloaded YouTube files, you can click on the ellipse icon at the opposite side of “Save to” to specify a destination folder. After that click “OK” button and the download work will proceed automatically.
Step 3: Download
As soon as you click “OK” to start downloading, the following interface will show up and present you with download info including download process and status. Once download completed, you should click on the file firstly, and then press “Open” button to get the output FLV file. By the way, this program offers a built-in FLV player, you can click on the file at first, and then click “Play” button to play it as you like.
