Sometimes, when you input the password for the Windows login account, you just find out the password is no longer works. So you forgot Windows password.
Take it easy, to get rid of your password, there are two options for you. I don’t mean to find out the losing password, just reset Windows password
No password reset disk needing, I certainly know you don’t have one. Now, let’s begin.
Option 1: Changing your forgotten Windows password without knowing the original one.In this, you need to have another available administrator account or account that has admin rights. After loin with your admin account, you can simply change the Windows password forgot
Here I introduce another way for you if you don’t have another available administrator account. Do you learn that Windows 7 has a default administrator account that built in during installation windows and disable by default? Ok, then let’s we come to the point.
You need to enable that account before losing your other admin account password. Or in this tip your built-in administrator account won’t appear in the screen.
Suppose we have lost "autume" account password
1. Start your computer and press "F8" while the computer boots up. The Advanced Boot Options screen appears. Scroll down to "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" and press "Enter." Your computer starts in Safe Mode with Command Prompt.
2. Select the default Administrator account that appear in the screen, then enter command prompt. Note: as I said above, you need to enable the Windows default admin account so that it appears in the login screen, you can search to enable it.
4. Type: net user "autume 123" and enter, it will show you a message that” the command completed successfully.
5. Restart your computer, then you can log in as "autume" with the password "123". You can go to control Panel to change your account password if necessary.
Option 2: Try Windows password recoveryThis is the quick and safe one. To reset your forgotten windows password, you’ll need the help of Windows password recovery. It enables you to use a bootable CD/DVD or USB flash drive to reset lost Windows Password to blank.
Step 1: Log in any available computer that you can access to and allows you download. Download and install Windows Login Recovery in that computer.
Step 2: Run and burn the program to a blank CD/DVD or USB flash drive.
Step 3: When finish, insert the disk to your locked Computer and make your computer boot it from the disk by changing the BIOS setup, then you can follow the instruction to reset Windows 7 password. It’s 100% recovery, so I’m sure you’ll enter your system with that account.
