This article is specially created for Mac users to show how to put DVD and video to iPod on Mac OS X, if you worry your files in iPod will loss caused by various reason, this article also includes a part showing how to transfer files from iPod to Computer.
What you need are:
1.iSkysoft DVD to iPod Converter for Mac
2.iSkysoft iPod Movie Converter for Mac
3.Aiseesoft iPod to Mac Transfer
This guide includes three parts:
Part 1: How to put DVD to iPod on Mac OS X
Part 2: How to put Video to iPod on Mac OS X
Part 3: How to transfer files from iPod to computer on Mac OS X
Part 1: How to put DVD to iPod on Mac OS X
Step 0: Download and install iSkysoft DVD to iPod Converter for Mac(Intel Version or Power PC Version)
Step 1: Click “Load DVD” button to load your DVD, you can also load DVD by clicking “Load IFO” button.
After you add your movie, you can choose any titles or chapters that you want to convert by ticking the check boxes before them.
Step 2: Select output format from “Profile” drop-down list
Clicking “Settings” button to set the video and audio encoding setting.
Step 3: Click "Convert "button to start the conversion.

More editing functions
1.Trim
If you want to convert a clip of your DVD, you can click “Trim” button to open the Trim window and trim the current title or chapter by dragging the Start Time slider and End Time slider to set the start time and the finish time.
2.Crop
Click “Crop” button to remove the black egdes, you can drag the frame around the video or setting the crop values: Top, Button, Left and Right.
Above the crop pane, you can select an output aspect ratio and the available options are: Keep Original, full screen, 16:9 and 4:3. You can preview the video in the select aspect ratio on the main interface during the conversion process.
3.Effect
Click “Effect” button and drag each effect adjustment slider to set the video brightness, contrast, saturation and video volume. You can also choose a special effect from the Effect drop-down list to apply to your movie.
Part 2: How to put Video to iPod on Mac OS X
Step 0: Download and install iSkysoft iPod Movie Converter for Mac(Intel Version or Power PC Version)
Step 1: Click "Add Files" button to add video files to the program.
Step 2: Select output format from “Profile” drop-down list
Clicking “Settings” button to set the video and audio encoding setting.
Step 3: Click “Convert” button to start conversion.
You can just go out for a walk or take a nap, and the conversion may have been finished when you come back: )
Part 3: How to transfer files from iPod to computer on Mac OS X
Step 0: Download and intall Aiseesoft iPod to Mac Transfer
Step 1: Run the software, and connect your iPod to your Mac via USB cable.
Step 2: Open the library/playlist that you want to export files, and then check the file(s) you want to export in the file list.
Step 3: Click "iPod to Mac" button to select the destination of the exporting files and start exporting files.
More functions
1. Find your file quickly
The "Search" function can help you to search your files in the categories of Genre, Artist, Album for you to find your file as soon as possible.
2. Show the number of your files automatically
Click video, audio and photo folder, the number of the files will be shown in the bottom of the screenshot.
