Surface RT, Microsoft's first foray into personal computing, is a hardware success that fulfills the dream of a tablet/laptop hybrid. I have been using the Surface for nearly a month now, and for what equates to several hours a day. I have found things I love, and things I don't love. I can and do use my Surface for typing articles, browsing the web, video consumption, games, and most importantly running PowerPoint presentations. For all of those things, it is absolutely terrific.
But I have a great collection of DVD discs and DVD ISO/IFO files stored on my PC, Windows RT does not support DVD movie playback. So it is hard for me to watch DVD ISO/IFO movies on Microsoft Surface Windows RT with subtitles. Then I am searching for a way to encode DVD movies to MS Surface RT compatible format before I can have free DVD ISO/IFO movie enjoyment on Surface.
After googling , I found Brorsoft DVD Ripper for Windows RT. Which is one of the best DVD ripping/viewing software for Microsoft Surface. With it, I can easily rip and convert any DVD movie files including DVD ISO/IFO files to a common video e.g. MP4 that is most compatible with Surface tablet. The most stunning feature of this DVD ripper would be the free options for choosing one preferred subtitle for the output movie. So, viewing DVD movies on MS Surface RT is much esier.
Step 1: Launch the smart ISO/IFO to Surface Windows RT Converter and then loading video on Surface RT via clicking the IFO/ISO button.
Step 2: Highlight the movie title you want to rip, and then you can click the dropdown menu after “Subtitles” and “Audio” respectively to select your wanted subtitles and audio track to be preserved in the resulted MP4 files.
Step 3: Click the Format bar and to choose the output format for Surface RT “Windows > Microsoft Surface Windows RT H.264 Video (*.mp4)”
Step 4: Hit the Convert bar; it will start the DVD ISO/IFO to MP4 for Microsoft Surface RT conversion at fast speed with the CUDA/AMD acceleration technology support.
When the conversion ends, tap the Open button to get the converted videos. Later, you can copy DVD ISO/IFO onto Surface Windows RT with subtitles easily.
