After download and install this powerful software, only three steps are needed to complete the conversion.
Step 1: load DVD movies
a. Insert the DVD disc into the DVD Drive
b. Click the Open DVD button, browse your computer, find the DVD folder of the movie and open it. (This DVD Ripper can rip copyright protected DVD movies, but you should remember that it’s illegal to rip DVD for any business purposes).
After add your movie, you can click any title or chapter to preview it in the preview window on the right. Merge: A regular DVD movie has several chapters, you can convert several chapters into one by click the blank box before merge into one file. Click the check box before any chapter you want and merge them into one file.

Part 2: How to edit your video with crop, zoom and trim functions?

1. Crop DVD video
Your DVD video may have black edge, you can use this Crop function to remove them. Click Crop button, in the crop window click the Crop Mode dropdown list, there are four options available including no crop, cut off all, cut off top and bottom and cut off left and right. You can choose one of them according to your need. For example, if you want to remove the black side on the top and bottom, select cut off top and bottom.
2. Select Zoom Mode
After crop your video you may select Zoom Mode, click the Zoom Mode dropdown list, there are three options available including Letterbox, Pan and Scan and Full Screen.
a. Full Screen
If you want to enjoy your cropped video in full screen, select Full Screen Mode. In this mode, the converted video will be stretched and the picture ratio will change.
b. Letterbox
If you want to enjoy your videos with the original aspect ratio, you may select letterbox. In this mode the aspect ratio remains, the blank place will add black edge.
c. Full Screen
If you don’t want the black edge, you still have other choice, select Pan and Scan, you will get a video in full screen, the ratio remains while some were cut.
3. Trim DVD video
as you have selected the clips to convert, you can trim any segment of the clips by clicking the trim button. You can move the slide below the screen to trim any segment and the blue line will be the captured parts.
