It seems that modern irons are both less lofted and up to an inch longer on standard specifications. This probably explains the vast distances players can hit wedges these days, and why 3 and 4 irons are now so difficult to hit, because they are equivalent to the 2 and 3 irons of old.

This invention relates generally to golf irons and more particularly concerns a set of golf irons including long distance irons and short distance irons which set, beginning with the long irons, has progressively descreasing displacement betweenthe center line of the hosel and the center of mass of the head.

These irons for sale typically include a set of eleven irons, numbered one (long) through nine (short), a pitching wedge, and a sand wedge. Each iron comprises a head including a hosel and a shaft which is attached to the head by fitting the shaft intothe bore of the hosel.

For any set of irons sale, it is important that for a consistent swing, the iron impart consistent loft and distance to the ball. It is also important that when properly swung, the iron produces a consistent shot without tendency to hook orslice.

In golf irons club head manufacture, it is understood that the cheap golf clubs head embodies what, in golf parlance, is known as a "sweet spot" acknowledged to be the medial location of the club head ball-striking inclined surface bounded in a vertical perspective between a top and a bottom edge and in a horizontal perspective between a toe and a heel.

All known prior art efforts at sweet spot-enhancement contemplate adding weight to the club head in clearance locations to the sweet spot, such as to the left and right thereof in the toe and heel respectively, with the expectation that this will contribute to optimum height in the trajectory and length and direction in the flight of the struck golf ball.

And you can buy these irons through the golf clubs online. Good luck!
