The Blue Jays dropped two out of three to the Red Sox over the weekend and wound up tied with Boston for seventh place overall in the American League. Atlanta Falcons Jersey . We found out after Sundays game that he was the first pitcher to walk six batters and hit two, while throwing just an inning and two-thirds before getting the hook. Rookie Drew Hutchison has been a life-saver of late, especially with Kyle Drabek and Henderson Alvarez struggling a bit. The 21-year-old has given up just one run over his last 14 innings and is 4-1 over his last five starts to boost his record to 5-2 on the season. He could vault himself into Rookie of the Year consideration, but will get plenty of competition from the Angels Mike Trout. Casey Janssen hasnt been spectacular, but hes done a decent job as the fill-in closer, saving five out of six. Sergio Santos, whos been rehabbing his shoulder, is back to throwing off a mound this week, but it could be another week and a half to two weeks before hes back with the Blue Jays. After taking part in their Charity Golf Tournament for the teams Care Foundation at Bond Head, the Jays will hit Chicago where they open up a three-game set with the red-hot White Sox Tuesday night. The Jays will be facing Humber, Quintana and Peavy in that order through Thursday. Theyll be countering with Ricky Romero, Brandon Morrow and Henderson Alvarez. After that, its 15 straight games against the National League, starting Friday night at Atlanta where there will be no DH. News and Notes The draft starts Monday night. Already loaded with pitching prospects, the Blue Jays are expected to concentrate on position players with their first two picks at number 17 and number 22. It looks as though the amazing career of lefty Jamie Moyer is finally over at age 49 after Colorado released him over the weekend. Moyer has won 95 games since turning 40.
