As we know, TaylorMade has been making adjustable drivers for a few years, and the original TaylorMade R11S fairway wood released in 2012. Its features are the same as the Taylormade R11 Fairway Wood . It takes adjustability in fairway woods to an entirely new level.
The R11S Fairway Wood is an improvement on the original R11 ,and is TaylorMade's most adjustable and advanced fairway wood ever. And the Adjustable Sole Plate, and new Flight Control Technology combines with the white-matte finish to provide exceptional confidence, accuracy, and distane. The new R11S is bigger, faster, and more tunable.
The Taylormade R11S Fairway Wood features a white crown; black PVD face in a classic shape. The white crown is super easy to align, it looks great at address and appears 2% larger and helps to eliminate glare and "hot spots" caused by sunlight. The contrast with the black PVD face aids address alignment, particularly in low light conditions. The white head looks larger to promote more confidence and a fast, free swing speed. Many players totally dial in the club to fit their swing.
The new R11S delivers a high launch angle and low spin-rate for faster ball speeds and increased distance, from a redesigned, low and forward CG location. The contrast between the white crown and black clubface makes it easy to align the discount golf equipment R11S accurately at address. The matte-white finish eliminates hot spots and glare to promote improved focus.
After the loft is set with Flight Control Technology, change the look at address by rotating the Adjustable Sole Plate. An advantage of ASP is that it allows you to independently tune face angle without changing loft. Flight Control Technology allows you to tune the loft up or down by 1.5 to affect launch angle and spin-rate, for approximately 54 yards horizontal trajectory adjustment and 3 and 1500 rpm of launch condition change.
As far as I am concerned, this is by far the best Fairway Wood on the market. I am producing straighter shots with a fair amont of trajectory. If you are having issues with getting the ball airborne, this TaylorMade R11S is the club for you.
