Design updates include a new tour preferred satin finish, contemporary back design, cosmetics, and improved sole design in the MB." This is the first time that Titleist has given behind the scenes access to the tour validation process that takes place before every major launch. The classic design and traditional feel and responsiveness of the new MB irons will please even the most adamant traditional iron enthusiasts.
By working with Tour players to create wedges that performed under the most challenging major championship conditions, Titleist Vokey Spin Milled has developed a precisely machined, tight tolerance groove that provides the player with increased spin on both full and partial wedge shots. One drawback to Vokey Spin Milled wedges is their slight susceptibility to fast wear, especially with extremely hard, surlyn-covered balls. Selection can also be confusing with the many available bounce-loft combinations. Getting fitted for the proper wedges is recommended.
I like golf clubs for sale with bounce and relief in heel, toe, and trailing edge. I also like a leading edge that won't dig and will play easily in firm conditions without a decent lie, and play out of soft or river (firmer) sand because those are my typical conditions. Using Titleist Vokey SM4 Tour Chrome CC Wedge for practice as well as the course, not wanting to use my vaunted Miura 1957 C Grind too much in practice. But I've learned to appreciate the differences between the two clubs. The Vokey is more forgiving through the turf - the Miura requires that the hips keep moving to not get hung up. The sound of the Vokey is more muted through impact.
