Titleist always understand what aspiring golfers are looking for in a set of performance Irons. They know advanced performance in terms of distance and shot control is just simply not good enough anymore.
The main body of the titleist ap2 irons are designed body is forged from a soft carbon steel material, and has two cavities either side of a central bar.
Plus a slightly thinner face of the titleist ap2 helps to push the weight more towards the perimeter of the clubhead for advanced playability without loss of shot shaping. The bottom cavity is laser welded together with a high density tungsten nickel box, while the top cavity is fitted with a co-molded medallion of soft elastomer and aluminum plate.
The Titleist R&D team’s advanced research group has been conducting extensive sound and vibration analysis aimed at reducing the harsh lower frequency vibration that causes poor feel in the best ap2 irons.
This research led to combining several technologies and materials in the back cavity of the new AP irons resulting in a new Tuned Feel System to take feel to a new level.
