A few days ago, I had met the headache things that I had forgotten Windows login password. The login screen rejected my password. Login your PC or Laptop into Safe mode Networking after that there will be two profiles
Admin
User(Your name or local )
login into admin profile and go to control panel and there will be an option to change the password of local profile save the changes.
