May be you hear about adobe flash player. Maybe you are using adobe flash player. But about the flash player, how many details do you know? I will make an introduction on flash player for you.
The adobe flash player is software that not only can be equipped on computer but also mobile devices. Adobe flash player can view multimedia, Rich Internet Applications and scream video and audio. Flash player can be freely available in many versions of browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Opera on selected platforms. In order to provide a cross-platform runtime environment for desktop applications, adobe flash player is used internally by Adobe Integrated Runtime (Adobe AIR). Flash applications must specifically be built for the Adobe AIR runtime in order to utilize additional features provided, such as file system integration, native client extensions, native window/screen integration, taskbar/dock integration, and hardware integration with connected Accelerometer and GPS devices.
Flash player can be divided into desktop flash player and mobile flash player. The latest version of flash player, version 11, can be compatible for most desktop system, such as Windows (XP and newer), Linux, Solaris, and Mac OS X (10.6 and later). Flash Player 11 is available in three flavors: "ActiveX", "Plug-in" and "Projector". The "ActiveX" version can be used in internet explorer and many other windows platforms that support ActiveX technology. The "plug-in" version is available for Netscape-compatible browsers on Microsoft Windows, Macintosh and Linux. The "projector" version is a standalone player that can open SWF files directly. Flash player 11 is also available for Android. Flash Player is also certified to be supported on a select range of mobile and tablet devices, from Acer, Dell, HTC, Lenovo, Logitech, LG, Motorola, Research In Motion, Samsung, Sharp, SoftBank, Sony (and Sony Ericsson), and Toshiba. Adobe has stopped browser-based Flash Player development for mobile browsers in favor of HTML5 in 2012. However, Adobe continues to support Flash content on mobile devices with the Adobe Integrated Runtime. It allows developers to publish content that runs as native applications on certain supported mobile phone platforms.
We all know flash player is also called SWF player. And a swf video can be played on mobile on the condition that the mobile phone must have the corresponding formats.
