The HD video recording function helps you perfectly capture every moment of tears and laughter in your life and keep the unique memory forever. Have you got one H.264 MOV Camera? If so, you must like taking and playing the HD recordings with your family and friends. But you may be in the trouble why you can't import H.264 MOV to Final Cur Pro 6/7 for editing on your Mac.
In fact, the H.264 codec is not a perfect editable format for Final Cut Pro, but Apple ProRes is. 1. If you have multiple 1080p MOV files you can tick the “Merge into one” box to combine the multiple video files into one single file so that you can play these files without interruption.
2. If you prefer smaller file size, please choose “Apple ProRes 422 (LT) (*.mov)” instead. The “Apple ProRes 422 (Proxy) (*.mov)” format offers file size at SD levels and is recommended for 480i/p and 576i/p shootings.
3. If you wanna shut down the computer after the conversion automatically, just click Option and tick the box “Shut down the computer after conversion” before conversion starts.
