Can anyone tell me what programs can edit WMV-movie-files and just cutout the parts I want, without reencoding it. This saves a lot of time and keep exactly the same quality.
For MPG I use MyFlix and for AVI's I use VirtualDub to cut out the parts I want to keep without reencoding them. But it seems VirtualDub may not handel WMV's because of Microsoft copyrights.
Many movies are stored and shared in the format of WMV on line for its small size and well quality. WMV files can be played on players such as MPlayer or WMP, which is available for both of Windows and Mac. Anyway, as a closed source, propriety codec that cannot be manipulated, WMV files are not suggested for editing. So what if you want to edit WMV movies, like cutting parts you don't like, or adding effects to them? I'd love to share how to edit WMV files with a wonderful WMV editor within a few steps.
But how do you do when you want to edit wmv movies for example, to crop something you do not like in the movies, to clip the part you do not need, or to add something personalized to the movie? Here I would love to share a wmv editor with you.
