"I am trying to figure out the best configurations to tip my DVD/Blu-rays to regular use video format. I don't want it set to a specific device rather just rip it so that I'm able to use it on several devices mainly a computer and other occasions a thrive. What would be the best settings to achieve that? "
For Blu-ray, movies have a higher resolution 1080p. While you ripping the content to video files, you need to decrease some video settings. High quality and resolution means taking more storage space as well. More than that, the majority of mobile and multimedia devices not works with 1080p high definition videos well. So, if you want the output video can be applied for multiple products, decrease video settings and choose a much common video format, for example MP4.
If you still want know detailed steps about how to achieve that. Take below guides for reference.
Step1. Import Blu ray motion picture to Blu ray Ripper
Obtain, install and run Blu ray Ripper, and click on "Load BD" to import Blu ray source to Blu ray Ripper. Player has been built in the program which allows previewing the imported files by double clicking the file.
Step2.
Set Output, Subtitle and Audio
In Profile, click on the drop down box of "Profile" to choose a preferred one out of various customized output formats. Here' would like to recommend you choose MP4 in H. 264 as output, this format supports by the majority of mobile and multimedia devices.
Step3. Settings
You can change the parameters to meet your devices exactly in settings button: codec, quality, video size, bit rate, aspect ratio, frame rate, and so on.
Step4. Rip Blu ray to video
After all above steps have been finished, you can revisit the home user interface and click on the big button "Convert" to begin to rip Blu ray to computer. After conversion, you can enjoy Blu ray on your pc or mobile devices anytime you want.
