Bought this to replace a Taylormade R7 draw. Have played with it one round and still adjusting the shaft to get the proper fit. Ping G20 Driver The adjustments are easy (if you have the TM Wrench) and only take a couple of minutes. In my case the upright position so far has cured my slices. I am hitting the ball straighter and thus have gained distance. As a senior golfer distance is important to me. The adjustable weights are also easy, the three weight ports has 1-16 gram and 2-1 gram weights, placement of the weights will dictate ball flight. TaylorMade R11s Driver I have found it easy to launch the ball and even off-center hits tend to be straighter.
Esthetically the club is very pleasing. I am overall satisfied with the club and hope to finally find the right settings. The only negative for me was the grip. I removed the TM grip and replaced with a WINN grip. This is by far the best driver that I have purchase! I was looking for more control and workability from my driver and the R9 has delivered! Taylormade RocketBallz RBZ Driver The deep face allows for more variety with my tee shots through better ball control. The deep face creates lower ball rotation and a lower ball flight, which promotes greater distance. The R9 has added an additional 5 to 10 yards to my drives with no additional on my part. My swing as not change, but my distance off the tee has for the better.
