once i got used to them they are actually an amazing iron and does everything the experts said it would do. im not a callaway fan and never thought i would buy anything callaway, but after reading each great review after another i bought them and im glad i did. TaylorMade R11 Fers been golfing for only 3 years now and i feel like these irons are going to drastically improve my game over time. i played on the course 2 times with them and noticed i could really attack the flag with them, not used to doing that since i only have a couple years of experience. i was able to hit my 8 iron 150 yards and my 7 iron 165 yards and thats amazing to me. yes i know it might be normal to someone who has been playing for a long time,but it sure made me feel good! Ping G20 Fers i def recommend them to anyone who is trying to take the next step, but def not the club you need if your just starting out because you will look like an idiot trying to hit them because the forgiveness is a lot less than an oversized iron.Already had owned this set of irons and wanted extra set to keep in my trunk. These RAZR irons are so easy to hit and feedback after hitting the ball is great.
The face of the club allows for mishits much more than others I have played. No one hits the ball on the exact screws every time, but this club over looks that. I have played Callaway since first using their S2H2's,,,, these are the best. Great looking,,,, great feeling. Also like the shaft that Callaway provides with these clubs.I bought these Callaway Raxr X HL irons because I was struggling with my old irons. I could not be more pleased with them. They feel great in your hands and the weighting gives you confidence to go after the ball.Ping K15 Fers The lower irons are about the same distance as my older ones only higher flight as well more accurate. The high irons 5 and 4 I’m hitting very consistent and much farther. Also I must note I changed from graphite to steel and very glad I did and I’m a senior golfer. I highly recommend these irons and would recommend them (HL) over the previous Raxr X. I might also mention that in the five rounds I used them I have lowered my score by 10 strokes on each round, is it coincidence I don’t think so but just my opinion.
