I get many MOD files shot by my Panasonic camcorder, and now I want to watch them on iMovie. Is it possible to put such MOD files on iMovie?
In general, Apple's iMovie accept videos at format MOV, MP4, M4V, 3GP,3G2, MOD is not included. So, many users who want to enjoy MOD files shot by Panasonic, Sony, Canon, JVC camcorders on iMovie, they have to transfer MOD files to iMovie supported format.
Here I recommend MOD to iMovie which is a professional and amazing tool to convert MOD files to iMovie easily. Besides, it can convert MOD to other formats as well such as AVI,MPG,WMV, etc. With high conversion speed and excellent quality, you can easily import the video to other devices too, such as iPad, iPad2,iPhone, iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Kindle Fire and so on.
iOrgsoft MOD to iMovie Converter provides basic editing functions such as crop, clip, merge, apply effect to video, etc to help you make home movies.
Step by Step Guide on How to Convert MOD to iMovie
Step 1: Free download and install MOD to iMovie Converter and run it
Step 2: Click Add File button to import MOD file and then click the pull-up list of Profile to choose iMovie video format ,select a path to save the converted file below the Output.
Tips: MOD to iMovie Converter allows you to clip and edit MOD files, split video into several smaller clips, crop video(remove unwanted part, zoom as full screen, 16:9,4:3), and adjust effect(brightness, contrast, saturation and special effect such as Old Film,Gray,Emboss for the video).

And if you are Windows user, you can turn to Video Converter for help.If your camcorder is AVCHD one, you can turn to AVCHD to iMovie Converter
