If you are like most, you’re probably wondering if Ping K15 irons are really that much different than the G15 irons, and how will K15? Well, many are calling them the perfect hybrid; Fair enough, Ping and every other name tosses the term forgiving around like alligators in the Everglades. Discount golf clubs attract your eye. The broad sole lowers the center of gravity (for higher shots) while internal weighting stabilizes the clubhead through impact. If you are a single-digit handicap, you probably won’t see the benefits of these irons, but if you are perhaps a mid to low handicap who has a tendency to slice or fade, you will likely develop a strong relationship with the Ping K15 irons.
By utilizing a lightweight titanium face, Ping engineers made the Ping K15 Irons club face larger and added 27 grams to the perimeter for a higher MOI. The iron’s extra-wide sole features a low and deep center of gravity to promote high trajectories and low spin. High launch angles allowed iron lofts to be strengthened without compromising control. A large internal weight pad in the hybrids produces a high MOI for added forgiveness. The hybrid’s offset hosel and face relationship increases launch and lowers spin. Ping K15 Irons feel good, and you can count on them to deliver. So, even if you don’t live for the oversized appearance, you will be willing to overlook this.
