Canon VIXIA HF G10 HD Flash Memory Camcorder was released in 2011, but it is also hotly received in 2012 due to its amazing features and functions. Athough the HF G10 is poweful, you can't import its AVCHD recordings to FCP for editing without rendering. In this page we will talk about how to copy Canon VIXIA HF G10 1080p MTS files to FCP for further editing on Mac OS. Step 3: Click the “Settings” icon and you will be led to the “Profile Settings”, 24fps or 23.976 fps, and video size as 1920*1080 are recommended parameters to keep the best quality for editing Canon VIXIA HF G10 MTS in Final Cut Pro. If you want to have a smaller file size but keep the good quality, you can change the video size to 1440*1080.
Step 4: Please click the "Convert" to convert VIXIA HF G10 1080p AVCHD to ProRes for FCP on Mac. You can get the estimated time and video size in the “Conversion” interface.
