The larger Titleist AP1 712 irons, made of cast stainless steel, provides more forgiveness but less "maneuverability" than the AP2. In this case, discretionary mass is shifted from the topline (1 gram),Titleist AP1 712 Irons center back (5 grams) and stainless steel sole plate (28 grams) to a heavy tungsten toe weight. The result? Long irons have a 4 to 7 percent higher MOI than the AP1 710, while short irons have the same inertia as before. These are all the main information about the irons, they are have an important role before customers purchase the irons.
I was impressed enough with the AP1s that I got a set of 712 AP1s for Christmas last year. Played AP1s for a while,Titleist 910 D3 Driver The moved to TM r9s. Played those for two years, and bought a set of AP1s on a bit of a lark. After playing the AP1s for two rounds, shot a career low of 72. Found the AP1s to be very easy to hit, and I am not a great ballstriker.Titleist AP2 712 Irons My GHIN in 8.6, and have fluctuated between 11 and 7 over the time period I just described. Based on my experience, I found the AP2s a good fit for my game. I think you would as well given the description that you provided.
