All was going well with Zenithink zt-280 c91. I had a small hiccup withe the screen not working so opened it up to find one of the ribbons loose so put that back in and whilst I was there did the wifi antenna MOD.
This carried on working fine but I re-opened the zenithink zt280 c91 approx 2 days ago to turn the wifi antenna as the wifi fix thread said the original antenna had to be a certain way up for maximum gain. After doing this my wifi was improved dramatically!
Then all of a sudden today I was browsing the web by turning my mobile into a wifi hotspot when the tablet wouldnt load a internet page. I checked the phone and the signal and wifi was all still fine untill I looked at the tablet to see the wifi signal strength was at 0 all greyed out bars.
I then opened wifi settings and checked it said signal strength poor so I turned off wifi and back on. Now when turning it on it actualy doesnt.
You press turn on and the switch will flip to the on position with the words turning on wifi to the right, after waiting ages the switch will flip itself back to off but still with the words turning on wifi to the right. When this happens I cannot make the wifi on/off switch do anything its unresponsive.
I have tried to reset the device and turn on and off. I have also tried flashing the newest 20120211 ICS firmware and it still does the same thing. Surely this is software and not hardware related.
