Due to back problems and reduced swing speed I have been struggling with my iron play for a while. Even though I have been fitted, I have gone through my share of new iron sets. Recently I ordered a set of Titleist AP1 712 Irons 4-GW with the Aldila 75 gram graphite shafts in regular. The first time out I broke my personal low score recored of 76 by coming in one under par at 71, and followed that up today with a 74. For me these are smooth feeling dart shooters with more than enough forgiveness built in. These irons are the most accurate I have ever played with, and for the first two rounds go exactly where I point them.Ping G20 Irons In my eyes, the titleist ap1 is just my lucky star and comes to help me with my golf.
