The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Boardwalk Empire
"Boardwalk Palace" did not live up to my expectations. Far to many characters were introduced (thrown at us) almost in a meaningless manner. The constant use and overuse of the "Boardwalk" facade reduced portions of the hour to a fantasy play. Further character development is necessary.This premier lacked the edge and interest of the "Sopranos" premier, a tough act to follow!dexter season dvd
This ultimately results in a showdown between Nucky and the Commodore at the end of the episode, in which Nucky finally gets angry in public with the man turning his life upside down. Nucky seems pretty content with what occurs here, but other than allowing Nucky to air his grievances this explosion has no real effect. It’s exciting to see Nucky blow up, but it accomplishes nothing.glee dvd
