Check it out for some thought provoking critical analysis of the series. · Were you a recent convert to the books and now wish you could get hardcovers of the previous entries in the series? Well you will soon get that chance. Amazon will be releasing an exclusive hardcover set of the first four books in the Song of Ice and Fire series on Nov. 29th. · If mentions on popular broadcast TV shows are anything to go by, Thrones certainly seems to have made its mark on mainstream pop culture. First, huge Thrones and Ice & Fire fan, Nathan Fillion mentioned GoT on his show Castle. Then, the book series was referenced in the latest Grey’s Anatomy episode. Now Valyrian Steel, the licensed creator of Ice & Fire replica weapons, has announced that one of their weapons will be featured in an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory. I’ve also heard that this week’s Parks & Recreation episode will contain a few Thrones references…Game of Thrones box set
