MICHAEL PITT sometimes runs in the same circles as Courtney Love, and when he does things can get intense, he says. We caught up with the “Boardwalk Empire” star at Esquire and Tanqueray’s Big Black Book Party at The Darby last week, where the Brooklynite told us about his affection for the County of Kings and his occasional encounters with Love. Pitt, who played a fictionalized version of Love’s late husband Kurt Cobain in the 2005 “Last Days,” says he stays in touch with the eccentric rocker and recently “had a meeting at her house” which he described as “heavy.” We asked for more details, but Pitt wasn’t spilling.
