George Clooney Is too Famous to Give a Great Performance
George Clooney's new movie The Descendants opens this Wednesday, but thanks to a lengthy run on the festival circuit -- including the prestigious Toronto and New York Film Fests -- buzz is already snowballing for the Hawaii-set familial dramedy.boardwalk empire dvd Clooney stars as Matt King, a lawyer appointed as the trustee of a sizable portion of Hawaiian land.

George Banks (Steve Martin) had a dream. He and his supportive wife, Nina (Diane Keaton), would host an intimate wedding ceremony for his baby girl, Annie (Kimberly Williams), and Bryan (George Newbern), that monster who dared to steal her away. Nothing fancy. Less is more, as George proposes. He even offered to make his famous guacamole.
