We find many cameras or camcorders in our life. To record something or take pictures has become popular everywhere and anytime. It is exciting to keep memories forever. In order to catch up with this digital life, many companies are studying editing software to adjust with AVCHD format, such as FCP.
Some question occurs! Though FCP claimed that it could support MTS/M2TS format, we still encounter difficulty when we import MTS/M2TS files to FCP for editing. What happened? What can we do? I think most of you have confusion and want to know the answer.

Step 3: Click “Settings” button to adjust the audio and video parameters.
Press the “Settings” and you will go to a new interface named “Profile Settings”. You can adjust codec, bit rate, frame rate, sample rate and audio channel in the interface as you like as well as optimize the output file quality.
Note: You'd better set the video frame rate as 30fps, video size as 1920*1080 to keep the best quality for editing in Final Cut Pro. If you aim at having a smaller file size but keeping the good quality, you can change the video size to 1440*1080.
Step 4: Begin converting your MTS/M2TS files to MOV on Mac.
Click the “Convert” button; it will convert AVCHD MTS/M2TS to MOV immediately. You can find the process in the “Conversion” interface.
