Pavtube Mac OS X lion DVD Ripper-playing/putting dvd movies to HP Touchpad
HP's fire sale on its TouchPad tablet computer last week has killed all Canada inventory, and details on U.S. stock remains sketchy, but there is still hope for a bargain. While the deal may be over for many, you don't necessarily have to pay full price. It seems scalpers have picked up the discounted TouchPad and they are moving quickly on Ebay. The regularly priced $499 tablet is going for around $255 on the online auction shop. This is a far-cry from the give-away price of $99, but below $300 is still less than the $499 iPad, and Android based competitors as well.
Now that you were lucky enough to get a discounted HP TouchPad, what will you do with it? Do you use it for web browsing or music playing? Have you found that it is not quite cost-efficient to watch on-line video with a tablet? Well this guide tells you how to convert DVD movies on Mac OS X Lion play movies to HP TouchPad - by ripping and converting them to Touch Pad preferable formats. Here we go.
What you need to put a DVD onto HP TouchPad:
A DVD
A Windows PC or Mac

Workflow- converting DVD to HP TouchPad supported video formats.
Step 1. Load DVD movies to Mac OS X Lion DVD Ripper. Click "Load BD/DVD" to load protected DVD movie from DVD.
Step 2. Check the main movie, which has longest duration. Uncheck all other chapters which are menus, ads and extras.
Step 3. Set audio and subtitles language for each DVD from "Subtitles" and "Audio" box.
Step 4. Select a format that is compatible with HP TouchPad. With Pavtube DVD Ripping for Mac OS X Lion, I select "Common Video > H.264 Video (*.mp4)" format. The specs of TouchPad stated it support H.263, H.264 and MPEG-4 video.
Step 5. Click "Convert" to start converting DVD for HP TouchPad. By default the app derives aspect ratio from the movie there's no need to worry about stretched images you may have with other apps.
Note: Keep your Mac networked so that the DVD Ripper for Mac Lion can access keys for Workflow - Transfer movies from Mac OS X Lion to HP TouchPad.
Step 1. Connect HP TouchPad to Mac Lion with the USB cable.
Step 2. On your TouchPad, tap USB Drive.
Step 3. On your Mac, locate and double-click the removable drive named for your TouchPad. You should find HP TouchPad on the desktop. If not, open Finder to locate the tab.
Step 4. Now the TouchPad appears as a removable USB drive and you just drag and drop the converted DVD movies to the movie directly.
