MOD is a video format used on many digital camcorders, such as JVC Panasonic and Canon camcorders. In fact, MOD video file is MPEG-2 files with AC3 audio and it is often accompanied with small .MOI files which contain the videos’ time-stamp information.
Here is the list of supported MOD Camcorders:
JVC: GZ-MG630 (60 GB HDD, MicroSD); GZ-MG670 (80 GB HDD, MicroSD); GZ-MG680 (120 GB HDD, MicroSD); GZ-MG7230 (30 GB HDD, MicroSD); GZ-MS100U (SD/SDHC card), etc.
Panasonic: SDR-S50 (SD/SDHC/SDXC card); SDR-T50P; SDR-T55P (SD/SDHC/SDXC card, internal flash); SDR-H85P (SD/SDHC/SDXC card, hard drive); SDR-S26 (SD/SDHC card)；SDR-SW21 (SD/SDHC card); SDR-SW20 (SD/SDHC card)；SDR-S7 (SD/SDHC card); SDR-H20 (HDD, SD/SDHC card); SDR-H60 (HDD, SD/SDHC card), etc.
Canon: FS200 (SDHC); FS21 (SDHC); FS22 (SDHC); FS100 (SDHC); FS10 (SDHC); FS11 (SDHC).

Step2. Select the items to be converted, and click on ‘Format’ bar and select Common Video->MPEG2 Video (*.mpg) in the pull-down list. You are not recommended to choose the HD formats, as I mentioned above, the Full HD is for blu-ray disc, not standard DVD.
Step 3. Now you can further adjust the advanced video and audio parameters. Basically the footages are 1080p (1920*1080) or 720p (1280*720). If you would like to keep the original 16:9 aspect ratio (I believe you do, no one would prefer stretched image), make sure you set correct video size. Click the ‘Settings’ button to adjust the advance parameters. The following settings are for your reference.
Video: mpeg2video, 960*540p, 9800kbps, 29.97fps
Audio: mp2, 44.1khz, 128mbps, 6 channels
Step 4. Click the ‘Browse’ button next to the Export to field and select a location on your HDD for the output video file.
Step 5. Click the ‘Convert’ button to start MAC MOD to DVD Conversion. After conversion, import the converted files to iDVD for further authoring and burning.. When authoring DVD, using the provided templates makes authoring quick and easy. See how to author DVD using iDVD.

I've bought, and find that it is to read things on the Web a very great thing. Am a computer and must e.g. often manuals, etc. read on the Internet, and with the iPad can do it very conveniently in the chair (with future other tablets that would work similar to naturally then, I'd by so I here plead for more, especially concerning the shape, iPad be specifically for that). So I have in the past two weeks noticed that iPad replaced (at home) the notebook to 70% of the time, because many things are so easy to perform comfortably. Exception is still the writing of longer emails or texts, that is indeed once more comfortably on the notebook. And if you want to see flash objects, you must all know that then fall back again on the notebook. backup iPad to PC Since the i5 isn't coming out until November-ish, I can't wait ANOTHER six months on top of the ten I've already waited for. My 3G has to be charged three times a day and is exceptionally slow. I'm at my breaking point with it and am glad to get the white i4 as soon as it launches (it better be tomorrow).
