The Sony HDR-CX350 is an advanced technology full High Definition camcorder with a 32GB internal memory that produces very high image quality for both video and stills. It records HD videos in MPEG4-AVC/H.264. After transferring the raw AVCHD Videos to computer, they become files with extensions of .mts. I bought one last year and enjoyed it with its super imaging. However, when I tried to load my .mts Videos recorded from my Sony HDR-CX350 using FX mode with 1920x1080i 24Mbps or FH moded with 1920x1080i 16Mbps to iMovie 8, iMovie 8 couldn’t read them. Even after upgrading to iMovie 09, it still failed to import them.
After surfing on the net, I finally found a solution to import my Sony HDR-CX350 mts videos to iMovie 09 even iMovie 08. At first, I convert the mts videos to Quicktime MOV with Brorsoft Mac MTS Converter and then import them to iMovie 09 without any problem.
Following is the detailed guide about how to convert Sony HDR-CX350 MTS to MOV for further editing with iMovie 08 or iMovie 09.
Step 1. Add Sony MTS video to AVCHD MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac.
After transferring .mts files from Sony HDR-CX350 memory card to iMac Apple hard drive, run Brorsoft MAC HDR MTS Converter and click the "Add" button to load the 1080i .mts videos. You may also import the AVCHD files with drag and drop.
Step 2. Choose MOV format.
Click the "Format" option and choose Adobe Premiere/Sony Vegas > MOV (AVC)(*.mov) as output format for importing to iMovie 8 and iMovie 9. The Mac Sony AVCHD to iMovie converter will transcode MTS to MOV for Mac applications with original video resolution, e.g 1920x1080.
Step 3. Convert Sony CX350 MTS to MOV for iMovie.
Click the convert button on the bottom right corner, and the conversion from Sony CX350 MTS to MOV will begin right away.
Step 4. Import the output videos to iMovie for further editing.
In the “File” menu, click “Import” to load the video files converted by Brorsoft MTS Converter for Mac. And then follow the way to make your home videos now.
Choose “File” -> New from the menu and name the project. If the footage is widescreen, please ensure that you choose the “Widescreen (16:9)” option.

I have to agree with Wayne: the better App can be affected by content, but the usability of the app has to come first. In that case, iBooks is definitely the best book reader. It supports Whispersync-like technology, meaning I can switch between iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch seamlessly. True, the bookstore isn't as good as the Kindle, but it's not bad, and it's getting better all the time. It isn't so anemic that it should merit a major shot against it. Overall, I find iBooks to be a much better reading experience. Since I'm buying books only occasionally, and I'm reading books much more often, the reading experience trumps all for me. convert avi to mov Hi. This has to do with the iPad anything ... However, in the summer, a new iPhone out. This is the "old" iPhone will certainly cheaper. I think that right at the T-Mobile price does nothing more (more on ebay, etc.) At the moment yes, the iPhone anyway to have quite cheap at T-Mobile. I also have an iPhone and am very happy with it (and the service at Apple is great) ... In any case, have a good decision with the iPhone - but I would if you'd wait to spend a little more money for a phone or on the new iPhone because it is not nice when you buy a quality phone that is out of date So The iPad has nothing to do - only with the new iPhone ... if you get a new set immediately, it makes the most sense (well, even better would be to wait for the new one) Enjoy!
