Windows Movie Maker is a video creating/editing software, included in Microsoft Windows. It contains features such as effects, transitions, titles/credits, audio track, timeline narration, and Auto Movie. New effects and transitions can be made and existing ones can be modified using XML code. Windows Movie Maker is also a basic audio track editing program. It can apply basic effects to audio tracks such as fade in or fade out. The audio tracks can then be exported in the form of a sound file instead of a video file.
From the first time I heard about Windows Movie Maker, I knew for sure that it was something I
could get used to. But that was when I was using Windows 98 on a ten year old computer. Now that I have Windows Movie Maker on my Vista PC, I still like it, but it seems kind of basic. Though it is a very useful software program, it is a basic video editor that isn't made for creating a full length feature film.
However, Windows Movie Maker can do a lot of things well. One thing that I really liked about
Windows Movie Maker is that you can add many transitions and effects to your video. They are very basic effects, but they work. Unfortunately, you can not output the video you made to your iPod in the format of iPod MPEG-4, iPod MPEG-4 AVC, iPod MP3.Because it does not support the formats you mentioned above.
